What is your role at Chameleon?
I am a Digital Marketing Consultant working within the Digital Marketing Team. I work closely with clients to create content for their website, on and off-page SEO, Google and Facebook Ads, and Social Media creation and maintenance for them, amongst a wide range of other things!
What made you want to be a Digital Marketing Consultant?
I’ve always had a strong interest in Marketing and was lucky enough to join a company that was willing to show me the ins and outs of Digital Marketing. I also enjoy working closely with clients and being able to produce work that benefits their business.
Why Chameleon?
I was lucky enough to be taken on with only a year of experience in Marketing and have learnt so much since I’ve been here. The people here are also so wonderful, and we have such a laugh while working hard!
What does a typical day look like for you?
I get in for 9 and typically start my day going through emails and our tracker. Using a spreadsheet for all my clients really helps, and it allows me to track work completed and what else needs to be done for the month. We undertake regular training sessions to stay up-to-date with the ever-changing industry, and some days include client meetings which I really enjoy! I start wrapping my day up near 5 and flag any emails I need to respond to the following day.
What’s your favourite thing to do in your spare time?
My partner and I are real foodies, so in our spare time, we usually check out the best restaurants and pubs, and love a good street food vendor! We also have both recently started the gym, so we push ourselves to go most nights (got to get that summer body ready!)
Something no one knows about you…
I was on Xchange when I was younger, which was a kid’s TV show on CBBC. I don’t remember much about it, but I got a day off school to film it, which I would have been over the moon about!
